Our story
“We all know mother’s food is best.”
As a single dad, it was always fish & chips or McDonald’s. I couldn’t even cook pasta or boil an egg until my mother taught me how to use traditional ingredients and methods to make the soul food I’d loved in childhood.
What began with learning the food I grew up loving became the inspiration for Roc*Away. And now she says my food tastes even better than hers!
